Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were tidy and equipped with tea-and coffee-making facilities, which was convenient. The service was impeccable, and the staff made sure everything was just right. The location was ideal, within walking distance to local eateries and tourist attractions. The dining options were decent, but there could be some room for improvement. Overall, a good value for money stay.
The hotel is in a central location within Stonehaven, making it convenient for exploring the town and its local eateries. While the rooms could use some updates and control over the shower temperature, the friendliness of the staff and the delicious breakfast are standout aspects of this place.
The hotel provided a mixed experience with clean rooms but lacking comfort, despite its high price. The staff was friendly and helpful, enhancing the central location. Dining was highlighted by a fresh Scottish breakfast but had limited options. The facilities were satisfactory, although some amenities were missing.
My stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and equipped with the essentials, but they felt dated and uncomfortable, making it hard to justify the cost. On the bright side, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The room was more like a spare room on the upper floor, very old, dirty, and uncomfortable, definitely one of the worst I've had on all my trips so far. There was no value for money as the price was very high. In addition, it was quite noisy in the morning when others awoke at 5 am and made use of the shower next door. The room was small, a bit pokey, and had a sofa in the bay window with manual leg lifts.
The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms, better than expected, above a pub. The staff is helpful and friendly, making my stay enjoyable. The location is excellent, near the city center and within walking distance to local eateries. The dining experience was great with hot food cooked to order. A minor issue was poor maintenance in some areas.
